Do Not Insult Me By Calling Me a Six Pack American
Submitted by scott on Sun, 10/19/2008 - 03:36.Folks, we should be insulted when Palin-McCain call us six pack Americans! While I enjoy a alcoholic beverage on occasion I do not drink a six pack a day. Actually, I would consider such behavior to be a "problem" but more importantly there is no way I could afford that much beer! If you are going to slap a label on me be sure it something that is complimentary.

It is Time to Up the Ante
Submitted by scott on Fri, 10/17/2008 - 20:48.With Obama ahead in the polls it would be all to easy to become complacent but Obama's lead is resulting in even more accusations from Palin-McCain. Every day we are seeing an increasing number of smeers from calling Obama a terrorist to calling him a socialist because he wants to roll back Bush's tax cuts. We need to get the truth out there and we need to push hard to make sure other voters do not fall prey to these lies.

A Vote for Obama is NOT Unpatriotic
Submitted by scott on Fri, 10/17/2008 - 18:00.While there are many reasons why I would never support the Palin-McCain ticket there is one that stands out above all else. The ongoing insinuations that voting for anyone else is putting country last and anti-American. This can be illustrated when these candidates claim they are visiting “pro-America” parts of this country and that we can put “country first or Obama first”. These tactics of calling us the “bad guys” is simply wrong! I know that I for one love my country and I can honestly say the same of everyone that I know who supports Obama!

The Race is Not Over
Submitted by scott on Thu, 10/16/2008 - 20:01.
While it is so very easy to get excited
over the latest trends being seen in the polls we can not afford to
become complacent. One thing is certain both McCain and Palin are
going to up the ante, they are going to increase their push on lying

Sadly Race is Still an Issue
Submitted by scott on Tue, 10/14/2008 - 15:15.Recent events at Republican rallies are proof positive that racism is alive an well in this country. Furthermore, the actions of both Sarah Palin and John McCain are proof of this fact. Recently, at many Republican rallies, there have been people calling Obama a a Muslim and an Arab. If Obama were a blue eyed-blonde hair-white guy I highly doubt any of these accusations would be made. While John McCain, to his credit, did respond to one of these claims, his response was still woefully lacking. He referred to Obama as a decent family guy but he did not address the fact that whethe

New McCain ad calls Obama 'not presidential'
Submitted by scott on Wed, 10/08/2008 - 14:52.Actually, in a way, this is a compliment to Obama. We have all seen what behaviors McCain think to be presidential with how he has run this campaign. Constantly McCain is trying to make a big deal out of relationships that Obama has had with others. Fact of the matter is that when you are working as a community leader or a politician you will be required to work with others. Often you will be working with people you do not agree with and you may even dislike them in a strong way. It does not take much research to find out how often McCain has been associated with people of questionab

Sarah Palin Beats Expectations
Submitted by scott on Fri, 10/03/2008 - 14:42.The polls are in and the pundits have all come to the same conclusions; Sarah Palin beat all expectations pertaining to her performance. What is not being said though was that the bar was set about as low as it could go! Everyone was expecting the same babbling nonsense which she has spewed in one-on-one interviews. In this case she spent an incredible amount of time preparing and one thing I noted was that she stuck to previously established responses. Some of her responses were not even remotely related to the question that was being asked!

Dictator McCain?
Submitted by scott on Wed, 10/01/2008 - 17:54.I invite you to listen to the following video. I found it disturbing, to say the least, when McCain said, "I’m not saying this is the perfect answer. If I were dictator, which I always aspire to be, I would write it a little bit differently." Its is possible that McCain was just trying to be funny but this is not something which we, as members of a Democratic Republic, find acceptable.

McCain-Palin Ticket Loses Ground!
Submitted by scott on Fri, 09/26/2008 - 20:41.First, at 12:34 PM ET CNN reports that Huckabee stated that McCain made a huge mistake when he even floated the idea of cancelling his plans to attend the debate. The full article can be found at (http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/09/26/mccain-made-huge-mistake...) but essentially he stated what I previously did in my blog entry "When a Crises Occurs the World Keeps Turning" (http://www.saveourcountry.us/node/80). Although McCain has since agreed to attend the debates it is still of grave concern that he tried to duck out of his responsibilities as a president

My Idea
Submitted by Sharon on Fri, 09/26/2008 - 13:43.If the Gov. would get the people the money to save there homes, etc. Then the people could pay the banks and lenders. Then the people will not be homeless and the banks and lenders will get bailed out and we all win. If the Gov. gives the money to the banks and lenders, the people will be in the streets
and this country will be in more of a mess then it is now. Think about it.
I LOVE OUR PEOPLE AND OUR
COUNTRY
Sharon
